Tips to Lose Weight for Women
Hi Everyone,
What a week! There were health problems galore! From emergency surgery to a corneal ulcer, it was a challenging week. Add school and work pressures and I could remember how passive eating would creep into my daily routine in the past helping me balloon to 280 pounds!
Here are some tips to lose weight for women that worked for me when life sent me overwheliming challenges.
Stay true to you. Remember that you are the most important person in the world and if you want to be there for others, you must first take care of you.
Prioritize. While we all want to keep going at 110%, the truth is we need to prioritize and adjust our tasks when we’re faced with challenges.
Be flexible. Once we prioritize, we need to allow for minor adjustments in our daily plans and routines especially during crisis times.
Stick to the plan. You developed your weight loss plan based on your lifestyle and personality. Stick with it even though you may not feel like it. Crises and challenges pass and your positive reaction to them will build your character and make you stronger. Running to food will only make the situation worst because you’ll need to deal with the fall out–guilt and extra pounds.
Smile and laugh. Even though times get rough, look for things that are going right, especially when you don’t feel like it. Focusing on the future and what you want is more empowering than wading in the pity pool all by yourself!
Take care,
Georgene
